Hamsa and Dhwani - Hand carved wooden elephant (pair) - wood corbel/wall bracket (12inch)

The Story of "Hamsa" & "Dhwani"

In classical Indian music, there is a beloved raga named Hamsadhwani—a melody of pure joy, brilliance, and divine invocation. It is traditionally performed at the very beginning of a musical journey to invoke Lord Ganesha, clear obstacles, and awaken auspicious energy. Inspired by this radiant musical tradition, this hand-painted duo of wooden elephant corbel shelves is named Hamsa (the soft, silver-grey elephant embodiment of grace) and Dhwani (the deep, majestic charcoal elephant embodiment of divine sound). Together, Hamsa & Dhwani stand as guardians of your threshold—bringing harmony, rhythm, and auspicious blessing to your sacred space, living room, or home altar.

Please note: These elephants are sold as a pair, true to their name.

Crafted from solid wood, this piece features a gracefully sculpted elephant with detailed contours, expressive features, and a sturdy architectural form. The rich hand‑finished surface highlights the natural grain of the wood, giving it a warm, timeless character.

Perfect as a decorative wall accent, shelf support, or statement piece in entryways, living rooms, pooja rooms, or gallery walls. Its symbolic presence—often associated with protection, wisdom, and good fortune—adds both meaning and artistry to your décor.
